Packaging printing in a single pass
Focus Falcon-491S prints with water-based CMYK ink on paper bags, envelopes, cardboard and paperboard packaging. A stationary HP PageWide A4 printhead provides a printing width of 210 mm.
Parameters and material feeding
Print speed: 10–25 m/min, depending on mode; 10 m/min at highest resolution.
Maximum clearance under the printhead: 180 mm.
Integrated automatic friction feeder for flat materials up to 17 mm thick, such as paper bags, folded cartons and envelopes.
The feeder separates individual items and directs them onto the conveyor. Clearance under the printhead and the permissible material thickness in the feeder are two separate parameters.
